Roseanne Davidson says adorable daughter Sophia is already following in her mum’s footsteps

Rosanna Davison says daughter Sophia is already following in her mother’s footsteps when it comes to fashion.

The daughter of the former beauty queen and husband Wes Quirke, who turns 3 later this year, has already shown a passion for all things fashion.

Roseanne is known not only for her career as a model and writer, but also for her gorgeous fashion sense – something she’s excited to pass on to her little girls.

She told RSVP Live: “Sofia is now two and a half years old and definitely showing signs of being interested in fashion!

“She pretty much told me what she wanted to wear every day. I loved dressing her, buying her clothes, and of course like a lot of moms, I stopped buying things for myself, everything was for the kids.

“She loves denim skirts and leggings, and I love picking pink girly outfits for her, and she loves it.

“I hope when she grows up she’ll be the same size as mine because I can pass all my shoes on and hopefully the clothes will pass on.”

Twins Oscar and Hugo are too young to know where their interests lie, but when it comes to their personalities, Roseanne says they are bigger than life.

“Life at home is chaotic, chaotic and hectic, but also fun,” she said.

“I really enjoyed the stage, the twins were really cheeky and fun, always running around and playing games together.”

“It’s not like last year when they were newborns, now they can run around and we have to fully prove the house is toddler.”

Raising three children under three is no mean feat, although it can be tiring Roseanne Wes is keen to embrace those moments because time flies so fast.

She continued: “It’s tricky to take them anywhere because they just want to fly far away.

“It’s very limited where I can go and what I can do, but I just want to embrace all the madness and chaos because it’s only been a few short years and they do pass quickly.”

Roseanne is the proud mother of her three beautiful children, but because Sophia was born through a surrogate, she is “legally nothing” to her.

Under Ireland’s current surrogacy laws, Roseanne is Sophia’s biological mother, and if anything happens to Wes, Sophia will have no legal parents.

Rosanna has been very outspoken in her calls for these laws to be changed in Ireland and hopes that change will happen soon so her young daughter is not “left behind”.

She said: “I am delighted to have brought my attention to the lack of legislation around surrogacy and the urgent need for surrogacy in this country.

“In our case in particular, the International Surrogacy Review case, I am proud to give my voice to the hundreds of families and children born through surrogacy across Ireland.

“We all feel passionately that our children cannot be left out, they cannot be left behind, they need to be protected by the law in this country. They are ultimately Irish citizens.

“It has been positive to see the movement gaining momentum over the past few months and we do hope for positive results in the near future.

“I’m proud to be a part of that and hopefully this country will make history soon, so I’ll give it my all.”
