Mike Tindall and his kids spend the day at the playground at the Houghton Hall Horse Trials

Mike Tindall was busy taking his three children to the playground on Saturday when his wife Zara was at the Holden Hall Racecourse trials.

Mia, 8, took her siblings around Norfolk Stadium after being entrusted with paying for the ride, while former England rugby player Mike, 43, watched carefully.

Younger brother Lucas looked keen to join his sisters as he was seen taking his first steps in public after getting a chance to get off his father’s shoulders.

The thrill-seeking family looked in high spirits, with three-year-old Lena smiling brightly as she took part in a bungee jumping trip to the playground.

Mike Tindall, who is married to the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, looked casual by pairing a grey jacket with jeans and a hat.

He was mindful of the children’s safety throughout his time in Norfolk and was seen extending his arms to Lena as she bounced on the bungee jump.

Mia, who is 22nd on the throne, is clearly confident in the entertainment, practicing somersaults, lifting her hands from her seat belt and her legs high.

Mike wholeheartedly supports his daughter’s antics, keeps Lucas entertained, and makes sure the child has a full picture of what’s going on before giving the one-year-old a chance to engage in baby-friendly activities.

The siblings carry their teacups, Lucas sits on Mia’s lap, and Mike lets them spend time playing with each other.

Zara, an accomplished equestrian and Olympian, missed the fun as she was busy competing in the Houghton Hall Horse Trials.

Princess Anne’s daughter, an accomplished equestrian and Olympian, has a relatively low public profile and regularly attends sporting events on weekends.

Mike and their three children continue to show their support by competing in Zara.

This weekend’s outing comes as the royal family, without an HRH title, launches its own website to celebrate her sporting success. The glossy new website – zaratindall.com – makes no mention of her royal connections.

The site was created by Equimi after Zara became a brand ambassador for the company, which designs online pages for equestrian athletes. It barely mentions her family life, and there is no indication that her mother is a royal princess.

The page also features a Rolex ad as a banner and lists and links to her many sponsors, including Landrover and Equine America.

Her resume reads: “Just seven months after the birth of her first child in January 2014, Zara competed at the highest level again and won a team silver medal at the 2014 Normandy World Equestrian Games. .

In April 2017, she finished third in the High Kingdom race at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Race, before giving birth to her second child in the spring of 2018.

“Since then, Zara has regularly participated in national and international events.”

Zara also lists all eight of her current and previous horses on the page, along with links to her results and a “news” page with updates about her career.

Despite being the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, Zara does not hold an HRH title and is not a serving royal.

Her deal with Equimi is the latest in a long line of sponsorships and brand collaborations with Zara, which has been able to capitalize on her unique position as a royal but not to the greatest advantage.

The mother-of-three is also a brand ambassador for Rolex and Musto, and has her own jewellery collection in partnership with Australian brand Cajella, which experts estimate could be worth £1.1 million or more a year.

Through their work, Zara and Mike have managed to enjoy a “normal” life – at least in royal circles – and to live in relative privacy with their daughter, but still from the lucrative connection they’ve gained benefit, at least in part, due to their position in the royal family.

Tindalls also spends a lot of time on philanthropy, and the phone book is dotted with famous names.
