Isolated Thomas Markle is struggling with life as Meghan and Harry ghost him and fears he will never see his grandkids

Just a week ago, I spoke with Thomas Markle, who is now fighting for his life in a California hospital. “I just fell,” he told me on the sidewalk of his home in Rosarito, Mexico. “Thank goodness some good people picked me up. I’m going home.”

In our friendly conversation, MarkleThe 77-year-old spoke of his excitement as he flew from San Diego to London for the Jubilee celebrations.

“I’ll take a look queen,” he said with some pride. “We have a lot to say. ‘ Of course, I’m not denying his fantasies about having a cup of tea with the monarch in Windsor.

More realistically, I mentioned that he will be in the same city as his daughter and grandson.

Thomas didn’t speak Megan Since May 16, 2018, just three days before her sparkling wedding.Since then, he’s actually been met by Meghan and Prince Harry.

Equally painful for Thomas was that he had not seen his two grandchildren.

A TV camera standing outside or near Windsor Castle filming the Thomas Markle scene Buckingham Palace And with Meghan, Harry and their kids just yards away, it’s tempting.

No TV station or newspaper in the world would refuse to see a lonely father trying to meet his daughter, a royal duchess.

Especially since a TV company has agreed to pay for Thomas’ travel and has raised his hopes of meeting the Queen and Meghan.

“I’ve had the best three years of my life”

Markle family feud threatens to disrupt Jubilee celebration.

Now that Thomas is trapped in a hospital in California, the royal family can certainly breathe a sigh of relief. A major embarrassment was avoided.

This is no consolation for Thomas Markle. Unable to speak due to a suspected stroke, he faces the prospect of permanent damage.

His already tough life in an unattractive seaside bungalow in Mexico is even tougher.

“I only have three years to live at most,” he told me recently. “The Markle man will never live past 80.”

As a last-ditch effort to reconcile, he is eager to fly to London this week.

But of course this begs the question. Meghan’s Montecito Home Thomas’ Mexican home is just over a four-hour drive away. Now, it will take her less time to drive to the California hospital — just three hours.

The question is whether Meghan, a self-proclaimed defender of mercy, will put away her axe and rush to her father’s bedside.

“I love Bean,” Thomas told me when we first met, using the nickname he started using shortly after Meghan was born. “No matter what she did to me, don’t forget, she’s still my daughter.”

Fate, for the award-winning former Hollywood light director Thomas, has an unfortunate way of repeating itself.

Emergency heart surgery prevented him from flying to London to see off his daughter at her 2018 wedding.

Most likely, his health problems were caused by the stress of the wedding itself.

But more likely, he succumbed to media exposure fears Secretly collaborates with UK photographers to take their own pictures Getting ready for his historic London tour.

When his collaboration came to light, Thomas denied the truth to Meghan. After the lie was exposed, he apologized to his daughter several times.

The last text messages from the daughter and her father in hospital appeared to indicate that Meghan accepted his grief. But just before her wedding, Meghan lashed out.

Lying in the same hospital bed after surgery and now, Thomas suspects that in 2018 Harry and Meghan didn’t believe he was really sick.

He believed they suspected that he was deliberately feigning illness to avoid coming to England.

Meghan’s Montecito home is just over four hours’ drive from Thomas’ Mexican home. Now, it will take her less time to drive to the California hospital — just three hours. The question is whether Meghan, a self-proclaimed defender of mercy, will put away her axe and rush to her father’s bedside.

Their final call ended in a furious fashion. Hearing Meghan’s cries, Thomas snapped: “Maybe it would be better for you guys if I died.”

In front of the world and the royal family, Meghan backed away awkwardly.

To prove his illness was real, Thomas gave me his hospital records to prove why he couldn’t fly to London for the wedding. But he also spoke about his anger, with neither Harry nor Meghan asking about his health. “They don’t seem to care,” he told me.

Then, in the days and weeks after he was discharged, Thomas gradually came to a shocking conclusion. He thought Meghan had cruelly abandoned the man who had loved her dearly throughout her childhood and school days

The reason why her father’s calls or texts went unanswered has never been properly explained.

Before marrying Hollywood filmmaker Trevor Engelson, Meghan repeatedly acknowledged Thomas’ financial and personal sacrifices to give her a safe home and for her good education.

This generosity is especially important as Meghan’s mother, Doria, was largely absent from Meghan’s life during her school days.

Meghan’s love for Thomas is documented in endless letters, even a Valentine’s Day card she sent to her dad.

Even in her 20s, her bombardment of appreciation continued as she struggled to become a Hollywood movie star.

After each failed audition, Thomas reassured his daughter that rejection was not scary, but part of the process. “I gave her money for a car,” he recalls. “I built a darkroom for her because she wanted to do photography, and I gave her money for her first wedding.”

Their relationship began to suffer after Meghan moved to Toronto in 2011 to star in the TV series Suits. For years, they talked at most once a week but rarely met.

Seven years later, after Meghan met Harry, Thomas no longer enjoys the same closeness with Meghan. Not surprisingly, his 34-year-old daughter is focused on her life. But maybe no one in the UK knows the real Meghan.

On her wedding day, few were willing to publicly draw any vicious conclusions that no one in Meghan’s extended family was at St. George’s Chapel, or question why her mother Doria was sitting quietly by herself.

Not even a friend from Los Angeles accompanies her.

Before marrying Hollywood filmmaker Trevor Engelson, Meghan repeatedly acknowledged Thomas’ financial and personal sacrifices to give her a safe home and for her good education.

At the time, her half-sister Samantha Markle said she was upset that Meghan would treat the royal family like her own family.

Few were willing to believe the painful predictions of rejection – Harry estranged from his own family.

Now, the world knows better – it’s just that no one knows what will happen next week when the Sussexes arrive in London.

Negotiating the existence of the Sussexes has always been strange. In an unprecedented move, Harry took to the High Court while in the UK after Scotland Yard’s security protections were withdrawn.

He then met the Queen secretly in Windsor, apparently to ensure she agreed that he and Meghan would appear on the balcony with the royal family during the Jubilee Parade.

He even promised to take his children to meet their great-grandmother.

The Queen is no doubt excited about the prospect, but Prince Charles and William are skeptical, especially after Harry told a US TV interviewer he was concerned about whether the Queen was being advised by her — and, by extension, his own father and Brother – after proper protection!

The final straw was Harry’s refusal to say if he “missed” Charles and William.

Of course, this all comes at the same time as the Sussexes’ most important contract with Netflix.

Finally, the Sussexes admit they are starring in a multi-part intrusive Netflix documentary about their personal lives.

Netflix cameras followed them to New York and the Netherlands for the recent Invictus Games.

What’s missing is an intimate photo of the Sussexes with the Queen. Hollywood definitely needs this proximity to justify the huge budget.

The Sussexes need these opportunities to boost their lucrative but waning status as royals.

Seven years later, after Meghan met Harry, Thomas no longer enjoys the same closeness with Meghan. Not surprisingly, his 34-year-old daughter is focused on her life. But maybe no one in the UK knows the real Meghan.

So Harry and Meghan were undoubtedly shocked when the Palace announced that the Sussexes would not be on the balcony with the Queen, Charles and William.

Thomas lives in the hope that ‘Bean’ will walk in

Just 18 minutes after Harry’s request was publicly rejected, the Sussexes hurriedly accepted an invitation to come to London for the festivities.

Sussex and Palace officials are now engaged in frustrating negotiations. At all events, the Sussexes may claim special treatment and a prominent position – separate from other VIPs.

They may also ask to film the Queen’s introduction to her great-grandchildren – which is no doubt a Netflix exclusive.

When Meghan introduced little Archie to the Queen three years ago, CBS got the scoop. After Meghan’s interview with CBS’ Oprah Winfrey Show, I doubt Palace would agree to a Netflix exclusive.

So far, the Sussexes have been told they can attend the Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral. Where they will sit has not been revealed.

With trepidation, we can only wait for more battlefield reports of the royal feud. Meanwhile, the Markle family’s war remains unresolved.

Thomas Markle, recovering in hospital, has been brutally beaten. Since Meghan married Harry, the friendly grandfather has always felt his daughter humiliated him.

Now, breathing oxygen through a tube, Thomas no doubt pinned his hopes on “Bean” walking through the hospital door.

He dreamed that Meghan would pop up before she flew to London, took his hand, wiped his forehead, and whispered “I love you” in tears.

Hollywood has a tradition of making happy endings. But sadly, Meghan Markle’s biopic is unlikely to end on a positive note.

Instead of driving south to her father’s bedside on Thursday, Meghan flew to Texas on a private jet.

She placed a bouquet of white roses in Uvalde’s shrine dedicated to slaughtered schoolchildren. Among the many TV cameras, some would suspect, are the Netflix crew.

Meghan’s sympathy is puzzling at best. Megxit’s mood music is frustrating, and the credits aren’t ready to roll. This saga still has a long way to go.

Isolated and fired, Thomas struggled with his life without Bean’s sympathy or support.
