A new Netflix series about a forbidden lesbian love story between a vampire and a monster hunter is dubbed “Gay Twilight” ahead of its release next month.

First Kill, set to hit theaters on June 10, stars Sarah Catherine Hook as Juliette, who comes from a revered vampire family and falls in love with Calliope, the vampire hunter, played by Imani Lewis.
