The world of Star Wars is continuing to expand through television.
Following the underwhelming box office performance of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (2018), Disney decided to slow down the production of “Star Wars” theatrical blockbusters, opting instead for streaming on its Disney+ platform.
The show lineup on Disney’s docket is partly in four– Star Wars Celebration 2022 reportedly kicks off Thursday, May 26 at the Anaheim Convention Center deadline.

The first is Ewan McGregor’s return to Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was set 10 years after 2005’s Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The series premiered its first two episodes on the streaming service on Thursday, May 27.
The six-episode season follows Obi-Wan’s life in exile on Tatooine and marks the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin/Darth Vader.
The cast also includes Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Moses Ingram, Benny Safdie, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Simone Kesell, Vivien Lyra Blair, Flea, Jimmy Smits, Kumail Nanjiani, Marisé Álvarez, Rya Kihlstedt, Indira Varma and O’Shea Jackson young people.

Diego Luna will reprise his role as rebel spy Cassian Andor in Andor, five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The series was created by Tom Gilroy, who co-wrote Rogue One and four films in the Bourne series about a group of characters during the formation of the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire. One of the characters is Cassian Andor, a thief who becomes a revolutionary and eventually joins the rebellion.
Separate wires Genevieve O’Reilly has reportedly been confirmed to return as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arhona, Fiona Shaw, Dennis Gough , Kyle Soller and Karl Staler will co-star.
The first two episodes are scheduled to premiere on August 31 this summer. The remaining 12-episode seasons will be released weekly.
A second 12-episode season is in development and will end the series.

There’s also the upcoming anthology series Tales of the Jedi, consisting of original animated shorts. According to a report from Deadline, the show will tell a Jedi story from the prequel era.
The only animated anthology making its way to Disney’s platform is Star Wars Visions in September 2021.
Legend of the Jedi is expected to drop sometime in the fall.
Young Jedi Adventures is another new Star Wars series.
Set in the High Republic era, Young Jedi Adventures will follow the way young people learn the Force while becoming fearless warriors.

Filming has only just started in early May 2022, so Ashoka isn’t expected to debut on Disney+ until sometime in 2023.

After the events of Return of the Jedi, series creator Jon Favreau wrote most of the season, and Bryce Dallas Howard is expected to return as director.
It also stars Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Katee Sackhoff, Emily Swallow, Christopher Lloyd and Omid Abtahi.
The third season of The Mandalorian just wrapped filming in March 2022 and is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service in February 2023.
