Sir Deborah James A heartbreaking post was shared as she described how she struggled to find “memories on your deathbed” as she spent hours awake “between sleep and side effects”.

The 40-year-old podcast host, known online as Bowel Babe, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016 and is now at her parents’ home in Woking spend her last days surrounded by her family.

take Instagram Mrs Deborah told fans on Tuesday that her family surprised her when they watched Cinderella with her 12-year-old daughter, Eloise, and the “teenage sleepover” took her by surprise.

She wrote: “It can be hard to recall when you’re dying! Oh stress!!. I’m only getting some really grabbed time between sleep and side effects right now, but this teenage sleepover has put me in the face That smile made me cry most of the time yesterday!”

Mrs Deborah said she was increasingly unable to leave the house, her bed “or anything” and was “very frustrated” with her declining health before being surprised by the girls’ night out.

She said her sister suggested partying the night away with Woking-based company Teepee Vibe Tribe for a casual party with matching silk pajamas at a few hours’ notice.

“After a bad day, I felt bad so wasn’t set to watch anything,” she wrote.

“Actually, I was just crying about the leaking drain next door! But with the help of my sister and brother, I managed to calm down, and then they pushed me into the room last night, and yes I was for the fairy lights Crying! Good tears! It’s just right!

“I started out in a wheelchair and ended up with everyone helping me pee into a real t-shirt, watching Cinderella with the gang, sitting next to my daughter like a 5 year old with a huge firewood on her face Shirley cat smiles and sister!

“We booked this experience as regulars and they refused to pay, so donated it to @bowelbabefund instead. But I want to give a shout out to @teepeevibetribe because they are local, very nice, and did something right What matters to me is how easy it is.”

Deborah concluded: “Today I slept! But with another memory and a smile”.

Podcast host raises a staggering £6.5m A fundraiser for her bowel cancer, three weeks after it was announced she was in hospice.

Mrs Deborah launched fundraiser The original target was £250,000, but after inspiring the country, she has surpassed her target 26 times.

Despite her deteriorating health, Deborah has been an inspiration to many as she launched the In The Style series, became a dame and will publish a book.

Mrs Deborah and her husband Sebastian Bowen have two children, Hugo and Eloise, 14.
