Many aspects of our daily lives seem to be considered “normal” by us – but when you step back and think about them, they’re actually pretty creepy.

Well, this week, a Viral Reddit thread Ask the internet to say things that seem normal enough…until you stop and think about them. So, without further ado, here are some “normal” things that might actually make your skin crawl:

1.“The Pledge of Allegiance. You Americans grew up this way, and you’re used to it. You don’t know how creepy it looks to outsiders. A whole classroom of kids, being asked to blindly recite the Pledge of National Loyalty every day. Ahh. .”
